就我的感覺, I was like.... 是把本來 I was (形容詞) 換成一種描述或表演

就像本來你會說 I was stunned!!
不用 stunned, 而說 I was like... "What!!??" (加生動的表情)

或是在敘述事情時, 直接用當時的反應
Adam was talking about his grades
and I was like "duh... why are you telling me this?"
(這句一般可以說成 Adam was talking about his grades and it was irritating.
I don't know why he wanted to tell me that.)

但現在很多人都 like like like 不離口
所以很多像 I was like... stunned. 這樣的句子也很常見
