從決定開始申請綠卡後就不時在這個版潛水 期間得到很多有用的資訊 這次終於有機會來貢獻我的一個data point
我的狀況是在按完指紋後到485 通過前完全無聲無息 (no RFE or case transfer) 而我的EAD 是在幾乎要超出NBC normal processing time的時候才通過 加上COVID 期間許多的不確定性都讓等待的過程異常煎熬 過去半年常常在查USCIS網站>沒下落>感到厭世 的迴圈中度過
這週突然收到我和配偶485 approved 的通知 希望再過不久就能收到實體卡 在這邊分享我的timeline 順便幫還在等待的人集氣

背景: 美國PhD 基礎科學領域; 現任博後
(Published 14 papers with ~300 citations when filing I140; Referee for journals and grant proposals)
推薦人: 博班系上的教授*3 (剛好也都是我master thesis committee上的人 在reference letter 裡有declare 關係) + 博後系上的教授*2

我的case 似乎是一直在NBC 希望也卡在NBC的大家能儘快得到好消息
想到短期內不用再和USCIS交手 心情真的輕鬆不少
