Shaw 頻寬流量超用 即將開始額外收費！ - 溫哥華

家裡有用Shaw寬頻，且常用PPS和BT的版友要小心了！

從前shaw對用戶頻寬流量超用都寬大處理，
未來可沒有這麼好心了。

根據dslreport討論區網友們的透露，
位於大溫地區的用戶，

下個月帳單可能將會告知：
對流量超用的用戶將收取每GB最高2元的費用，
且還會同時調降目前的流量額度。


實在是太搶錢了！！！

Lite 13GB -> 15GB ($2/GB overages)
High Speed 75GB -> 60GB ($2/GB overages)
Xtreme 125GB -> 100GB ($1/GB overages)
Warp 250GB -> 175GB ($1/GB overages)
Nitro 500GB -> 350GB ($1/GB overages)

另外如果用戶進入官網 Customer Care 裡的"Your Modem Usage"，
將會發現以下新訊息：

「 Shaw is always working to improve and upgrade your Internet service,
and as part of that commitment, we will be replacing this monthly usage
monitoring system with a new tool which will provide a greater degree of
accuracy than ever before.

This means that starting next month, this graph will be replaced with
a new tool for monitoring your usage. We appreciate your patience during
this transition. 」

上面那段話大致意思是說，shaw下個月將會更新目前的頻寬流量監視系統，
新系統將會提供更準確的數據。

表面上是功能的提升，
實際上shaw是要用這套新系統向用戶多收錢！


看來是時候把網路換到TELUS去了。
