Mandarin Chinese Teachers for Children Needed
at Columbia Chinese Saturday School
Wanted:
Experienced substitute teachers and future classroom teachers to teach in our
Saturday Mandarin classes at Columbia University:
1.Beginner level for 4-6 Y
2.Beginner level for 6Y+ (most urgent need)
3.Intermediate level for 6Y+
4.Advanced level for 9-13Y
Preferred qualifications:
-Prior teaching experience with young children
-Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English
-Knowledge of Zhu Yin Fu Hao (or Bo Po Mo Fo)
-Certification in Bilingual Education and/or Early
-Childhood Education (or currently in pursuit of such degrees) a plus
Hours: 9:30am-12:30pm on Saturday
