這是有關於一段冒險患難的故事，
現代版唐僧集團使命必達的精神，
1300年後的某年某月的某一天，
再次策馬西域古道，
由於地球暖化、能源耗盡，
陸地上的交通工具皆停擺,
人類為搶奪有限的糧食及物質，
陷入了無政府的狀態，
菩薩有鑑於悲天憫人的胸懷，
於是再次派遣玄奘和尚，
前往天竺取回失落已久的真經，
旅途上所遇到的妖魔鬼怪，
歷經千年之後的修鍊，
功力更加深厚，
玄奘集團這次西行所遇到的險阻，
一關接一關，
過程倍加艱辛.......
