老外的姓名...到底哪個是姓? - 社會議題

但有一些不同
美國 中國 都已父姓為主 並排列在後方 但墨西哥則男女平等
先 放自己第一名子 再放 自己第二名子 依序 放上 父親的姓 在放上母親的姓 所以名子會很長
例如 :
Gabriel Maldonado Velarde Gabriel 肯定是他的名子 Maldonado 可能是父姓 或父親名 Velarde 可能為母親姓或名
所以 應該 再詢問你朋友 何為父親及母親姓 以表尊重 否則會鬧出笑話
還有 Santo 也請不要在墨西哥 人前叫 因為他們會覺得很俗 好像我們說的 招弟 網市 這是很老的名子 現在已經很少人用了

Mr. Rodrigo Vargas De La Torre; this kind (Vargas De La Torre) of last name is likely for a married woman who has the Vargas from her father, but "Torre" from her husband, where "De" means "of".

In Spanish, "Vargas De La Torre" is the last name and is the formal way to have TWO last names as last name. Sometimes, they will use "Vargas-Torre". In a word, the reason the last name is the way is because wife doesn't want to give up the last name from father.

越南名和中國類似，通常也是採三個字，把姓排在最前面。這個寫法可能有問題，因為拼的方式只有第二個字像是越南拼法（單音節），另兩個字併成雙音節，有點問題。請另待高明來分析。
