S.386 本年最後一週戰況 - 移民

各位好：

本週是今年最後一週。S.386 正反兩方都拉到極限。

我們合作的團體利用石虎小組作出的 論 S386 對產業的衝擊 報告，成功的吸引到許多議
員的目光。光上週就約談到 7 個議員的辦公室。這週還有三個在排隊。

這個差別有多大呢？

過去反對方的約談大約是一到兩個月才能成功約談到議員辦公室。由素人組成的遊說團體
在議員心目中是比較沒有地位的。這是必然的。不過，人都是自私的。我們的合作伙伴亮
出了我們石虎小組針對各州獨立作的研究報告之後就改變了這個情況。

目前對方也感覺到氣氛不對了。他們從之前只攻 Durbin，也漸漸轉為攻其他議員。


目前狀況是我們的戰士 Durbin 向對方釋出善意。出現了一些讓反對方大為不滿的謠言。
傳言本週會有 uc。不過，看樣子對方似乎仍不買單。我們仍然處於一種僵持狀態。

國會山目前狀況很複雜。本週會期是加開的為了要解決預算案。而有議員為了礦工權益一
事進行議事攤瘓。

我們希望能將這戰事拖過年。一來過年期間大家可輕鬆一下，二來明年大選年正式啟動，
與選票無關的法案就很難再上台面了。
